About Jason

Jason Biehl is an anti-racist educator, facilitator, history teacher, and writer, who was born and raised in Washington D.C. In 2016, as part of SURJ DC, he designed curriculum and organized a Masculinity and Whiteness Reading Group, which has become a transformative community for white men in this work. He is the founder of Change The Narrative, working collaboratively as an educational consultant to further racial and gender equity within schools and organizations. 

In 2025, he co-facilitated a 12-week Examining the “M” in WMRJ cohort for 40+ white men, and facilitated a 6-month Nurturing Healthy Belonging series for 18 white male educators at the Key School. He has adapted the Nurturing Healthy Belonging series for working with young men/boys and is looking for opportunities to pilot it at the middle school, high school and college level. 

He has written a 4-part graphic novel titled, Unicorns: A Memoir for Young White Men, with the first book coming out in Spring 2026! He lives just outside D.C., in Maryland, with his wife, Cristina, and their wonderful 3 year-old dog, Sage.
